CTI – Serving innovation in Switzerland

During the last 60 years, CTI has encouraged the transfer of knowledge and technology between industry and academia. With a budget of about 100 million Francs, it contributes in placing Switzerland amongst the nations with the highest capacity for innovation worldwide.

The CTI support program for projects in applied research and development (R&D) is open to all disciplines where scientific innovation is generated. The key funding criteria are the innovative potential of the project and its potential economic impact on the market. CTI supports tomorrow’s entrepreneurs with the national program venturelab. Jointly with venturelab, it offers the following services:

Support for CTI projects
Through this program, CTI offers additional support to researchers and entrepreneurs wishing to develop their business idea in the field of applied research.

Finally, the CTI Start-up label is a guarantee of quality that helps young companies attract potential investors.

The initiative Diversity@CTI is specifically addressed to women. Various networking activities are organized to support potential entrepreneurs, researchers and investors of the female gender. In this way, CTI wishes to increase diversity and support women in entrepreneurship.
